This year, Radiopaedia.org, which presents one case per day, presented the best April's fool Joke (1st April) in medical imaging. The case was presented as a real one as it shows here (now it has warnings that it was a joke):

I have to say that I googled Von Schlapp in the hope of finding about this strange disease, but didn't find anything... but I never taught the case wasn't real. Nevertheless, I am not a doctor... The making of the images can be seen in a video here.
